These Terms of Service (hereinafter the "Terms") govern access to and use of the 7BOOST. browser extension and its associated website (hereinafter the "Service"), published by an individual acting on a non-professional basis (hereinafter the "Publisher"), whose contact details are specified in the Legal Notice of the Service. Any use of the Service implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
7BOOST. is a browser extension that allows the user to submit a text ("prompt") and obtain a rewritten, optimized version of it, generated using a third-party artificial intelligence model, with the aim of improving the quality of responses obtained from conversational AI tools.
The Service is currently offered free of charge, within the limit of a number of requests ("boosts") per day defined by the Publisher (the "Free Plan"). The Publisher reserves the right to introduce optional paid plans in the future, without this affecting users who have not subscribed to such plans, who will retain access to the Free Plan under the conditions then in effect.
The Service is published by an individual acting on a non-professional basis, and is currently in a launch phase. The user acknowledges that the Service may, as a result, be subject to frequent changes, evolving features, occasional interruptions, or fixes, without this constituting a breach by the Publisher of these Terms.
Use of the Service requires creating a user account, associated with a valid email address and a password. The user agrees to provide accurate information and to keep their login credentials confidential.
The user is solely responsible for any activity carried out from their account. If unauthorized use of their account is suspected, the user agrees to inform the Publisher as soon as possible at contact@7boost.io.
Access to the Service is restricted to adults. The Publisher does not carry out any age verification when an account is created; by creating an account, the user warrants that they are of legal age.
Under the Free Plan, use of the Service is limited to a number of prompt-rewriting requests per day, displayed in the extension's interface. This limit is enforced both on the interface side and on the server side, and is reset daily.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify, at any time, the number of requests included in the Free Plan, as well as any other technical feature of the Service (the AI model used, available languages, features offered), without this giving rise to any liability on its part, subject to informing users by any appropriate means (in particular via the website or the extension's interface) in the event of a significant change.
The user agrees to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and these Terms. The following are in particular prohibited:
The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete, without notice, any user account whose use violates these Terms.
The Service relies on a third-party artificial intelligence model to generate the optimized version of prompts submitted by the user. The user acknowledges and accepts that:
The Service does not, under any circumstances, constitute professional advice, including financial, legal, or medical advice, even where the submitted or generated prompt relates to such topics. Any decision made on the basis of content generated, directly or indirectly, by the Service is the sole responsibility of the user.
The user acknowledges that the third-party AI provider used by the Service (Mistral AI, a company incorporated under French law and headquartered within the European Union) applies its own terms of use and its own privacy policy, and may, under the conditions set out therein, process or retain submitted prompts, in particular for the purpose of improving its models. The Publisher does not control these processing activities and cannot be held liable for them. For more details, the user is invited to consult the Service's Privacy Policy as well as Mistral AI's terms.
The Publisher uses reasonable efforts to ensure continuous access to the Service, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service depends in particular on the availability of third-party technical providers (hosting, authentication, AI model), over which the Publisher does not have full control.
The Publisher cannot be held liable for any temporary or extended unavailability of the Service resulting from a failure, maintenance, a service interruption by one of its providers, or any other event beyond its reasonable control.
The 7BOOST. extension, its code, interface, brand, logo, and all graphic, textual, and technical elements comprising it, are the property of the Publisher or are used under authorization, and are protected by intellectual property law.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting the user any license or right over these elements, other than the right to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and these Terms.
The user retains full ownership of, and responsibility for, the content of the prompts they submit to the Service. The Publisher claims no ownership rights over this content.
The processing of the user's personal data in connection with the use of the Service is described in the Service's Privacy Policy, accessible from the website and the extension, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The user may, at any time and without justification, delete their account directly from the "Account" section of the extension. This action results in the immediate cessation of access to the Service. Personal data associated with the account is then deleted within a maximum of 30 days, in accordance with the retention periods specified in the Privacy Policy.
The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach by the user of these Terms, under the conditions set out in Article 4.
The Publisher also reserves the right to discontinue operation of the Service as a whole, at any time, subject to informing users by any appropriate means within a reasonable period beforehand, to the extent possible.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, in particular to adapt them to changes in the Service or to legislative and regulatory developments. The applicable version is the one published on the website and the extension at the date of consultation, with the date of last update indicated at the top of this document. Continued use of the Service after such a change constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to their interpretation or performance, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory provisions of consumer law applicable to the consumer user, who may in particular be entitled to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code regarding the amicable settlement of disputes, the consumer user is informed that they may use a consumer mediator free of charge in the event of a dispute not resolved directly with the Publisher.
