These Terms of Service (hereinafter the "Terms") govern access to and use of the 7BOOST. browser extension and its associated website (hereinafter the "Service"), published by an individual acting on a non-professional basis (hereinafter the "Publisher"), whose contact details are specified in the Legal Notice of the Service. Any use of the Service implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
7BOOST. is a browser extension that allows the user to submit a text ("prompt") and obtain a rewritten, optimized version of it, generated using a third-party artificial intelligence model, with the aim of improving the quality of responses obtained from conversational AI tools.
The Service also offers an optional feature, disabled by default ("auto-boost"), which, once enabled by the user, automatically applies this rewriting to prompts entered directly into certain supported third-party conversational AI tools (as of the date of these Terms: ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Gemini, and Mistral Vibe), without repeated manual action by the user.
The Service is currently offered in the form of a 7-day free trial, with no credit card required, limited to 50 boosts and 50 keyword extractions per day. At the end of this period, access to the Service is suspended. A paid subscription allowing continued access to the Service is not currently available; it may be introduced at a later stage of the Service's development, in which case these Terms will be updated beforehand to specify its terms (price, payment methods, renewal, cancellation, right of withdrawal).
The Service is currently in a launch phase. The user acknowledges that the Service may be subject to frequent changes, occasional interruptions, or fixes, without this constituting a breach by the Publisher of these Terms.
Use of the Service requires creating a user account, associated with a valid email address and a password. The user agrees to provide accurate information and to keep their login credentials confidential.
The user is solely responsible for any activity carried out from their account. If unauthorized use is suspected, the user agrees to inform the Publisher as soon as possible at contact@7boost.io.
Access to the Service is restricted to adults. By creating an account, the user warrants that they are of legal age.
Use of the Service is limited to a number of requests per day (boosts and keyword extractions), displayed in the extension's interface. This limit is enforced server-side and is reset daily. The figure shown in the interface is provided for information only; the limit that is binding on the user is the one verified server-side.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify, at any time, the usage limits and any other technical feature of the Service (the AI model used, available languages, features offered). Users will be informed in advance, within a reasonable period, of any substantial change to the usage limits or the conditions of access.
The user agrees to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and these Terms. The following are in particular prohibited:
In the event of a serious breach of these Terms (in particular fraud, an attempt at unauthorized access, or unlawful use), the Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete the account concerned without notice. In the event of a less serious breach, the Publisher will endeavor to send the user a prior warning before any suspension or deletion measure, unless the circumstances make this impossible or inappropriate.
The Service relies on a third-party artificial intelligence model to generate the optimized version of prompts submitted by the user. The user acknowledges and accepts that:
The Service does not, under any circumstances, constitute professional advice, including financial, legal, or medical advice. Any decision made on the basis of content generated by the Service is the sole responsibility of the user.
The user acknowledges that Mistral AI (third-party AI provider, a company incorporated under French law and established within the European Union) applies its own terms of use and may, under the conditions set out therein, process submitted prompts. The Publisher does not control these processing activities. For more details, the user is invited to consult the Service's Privacy Policy as well as Mistral AI's terms.
The Publisher uses reasonable efforts to ensure continuous access to the Service, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service depends on third-party technical providers (hosting, authentication, AI model) over which the Publisher does not have full control.
The Publisher cannot be held liable for any unavailability resulting from a failure, maintenance, or a service interruption by a provider, or any other event beyond its reasonable control.
The auto-boost feature relies on the technical structure of the pages of the supported third-party tools, which may be modified at any time by their respective publishers, without notice to the Publisher. The Publisher endeavors to maintain the compatibility of this feature with these tools, but does not guarantee its uninterrupted operation and cannot be held liable for any malfunction resulting from a change to a third-party tool's interface. If the automatic rewriting fails, the Service transmits the original prompt unmodified, so as never to block the user from sending their message.
The 7BOOST. extension, its code, interface, brand, logo, and all graphic, textual, and technical elements comprising it, are the property of the Publisher or are used under authorization, and are protected by intellectual property law.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting the user any license or right over these elements, other than the right to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and these Terms.
The user retains full ownership of the content of the prompts they submit to the Service. The Publisher claims no ownership rights over this content.
The processing of the user's personal data in connection with the use of the Service is described in the Service's Privacy Policy, accessible from the website and the extension, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The user may, at any time and without justification, delete their account directly from the "Account" section of the extension. This action results in the immediate cessation of access to the Service.
Personal data associated with the account is deleted in accordance with the retention periods specified in the Privacy Policy. As an exception, a non-reversible cryptographic hash of the email address is retained for 18 months from the date of account deletion in order to prevent the abusive creation of multiple accounts aimed at circumventing the free trial, after which it is automatically deleted.
Data stored locally on the user's device (via chrome.storage.local) is not automatically deleted upon account deletion; it remains on the device until manually deleted or until the extension is uninstalled.
In the event of a serious breach of these Terms, the Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account without notice, under the conditions set out in Article 4.
The Publisher also reserves the right to discontinue operation of the Service as a whole, subject to informing users within a reasonable period.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, in particular to adapt them to changes in the Service or to legislative and regulatory developments.
In the event of a substantial modification to these Terms (in particular relating to the conditions of access to the Service, the usage limits, or the rights and obligations of the parties), users will be informed with at least 30 days' notice, by any appropriate means (notification within the extension or on the website). During this period, a user who does not accept the changes may delete their account without penalty. If the account is not deleted within this period, continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
The applicable version is the one published on the website and the extension at the date of consultation.
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to their interpretation or performance, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory provisions of consumer law applicable to the consumer user, who may in particular be entitled to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code regarding the amicable settlement of disputes, the consumer user is informed that they may use a consumer mediator free of charge in the event of a dispute not resolved directly with the Publisher.
